i think maybe i can solve that problem for you my man. i was having the same issue , but i set my valves again , and it is better now. i think the knock sensor is that sensitive , it can pick up valvetap as knock. thats my theory. my car is running pretty good now. when i run it in open loop though , it wants to stall when coming to a stop , or turning the whel , its almost like my power steering pressure switch isnt working properly. it seems y car runs super rich on the crower stage 2 map , 10.5:1 on vtec crossover , lol. and a steady 11:1 the whole way. not much knock though. ive been working at it. but it runs super rich even at idle , and like i said , when im running it in open loop , it acts real bad. im not sure how bad of an idle one can expect from brian crower stage 2 cams , but its a little rougher than stock , lol. maybe cause of my tuing issues as well. when i start getting somewheres ill post up what ive got and a datalog.

did you adjust your injector size in KMgr? the DC5 I posted the tuned kal from earlier in this thread had the typical I/H/E mods nothing exotic, note *440cc injectors*, we got 223-225 whp dynojet with 93 octane (pretty decent with a PRB intake manifold) and it ran nice and smooth throughout the RPM range.

the false knock at cruise/part-throttle with certain aftermarket cams is a well-known issue. if your valve lash is set correctly and you pull a lot of ign timing and it's still there then it's probably not real knock.

hahaha , thats awsome after i spent hours tuning my own map , that i could have used yours and i was smart enough to notice that the injector size was different. sweet man , ill have to try it again now anyways.
