here is a friends datalog & cal (1.2.3.3) after a cam swap its making significantly less power. k20a2 in rsx with RBC & SSR/DTR header, RBC & RC 550's

if you could review that would be great - note a/f was done using wideband on dyno

any resolution to this?? i have a car here thats getting a pop at idle due to the ign timing moving around so much at low rpms. i can watch it go from -5 to 20 deg at idle... shits retarded, when i put 15 or 20 or 40deg in the map thats what i want not whatever the ecu wants.

I still have the same problem, it bothers when you start to accelerate until rpm moves up little bit.

i just noticed something may help you sorting out the problem.

i just kept the whole low table at zero degree, and the ignition was fine, kept it at 10 degree, also was fine. same at 20 degree...

so what i understood that if we keep different cam angles in the table, when the cam angle is trying to change, the ignition just play around, and don't know where does it takes the values.
