Hello,

Thanks again, for helping me to get the Kpro run
I?ve a termin for Dynotune in September. Before that, i want to tune the car myself for the best A/F results.
In Germany the sprit for the K20a2 is defined "95Octane ROZ".
With the map "Dyno tuned K20 with CAI" the engine runs great just until the Vtec hits. After Vtec the engine runs to rich with an a/f of under 12.
What should i tune first?
Retard the fuel, or more ignition?

Are you using a PRA (Euro) or PRB (US) calibration? The US calibration was made on US fuel, which contains 10-15% ethanol. Thus it needs more fuel than un-oxygenated fuel, which could be why you're rich.

Usually you do not need to change the ignition timing. If it is rich after VTEC, lean out that area first. Make sure you do this for all cam tables (select 'edit all cam tables).

Hello, I use the PRB map. I have given less fuel, at the points, where the engine runs to rich and now my A/F value is fine.
The car is now very strong. The Vtec hits much better, than before.

Hi Bezendeviation, I'm from Spain. Sorry for my english

I used the "K20A2 with cold air intake - dyno tuned" with base from tuning and adjust the A/F to 13.00 (0.90 lambda) and VTC degrees.

I adjusted the VTC on Dyno ( send me a MP with your mail and send my KAL ) and obtain 220hp (192hp with original ecu)

I have K-PRO PRB, Header SRS 4-1, Magnex Decat and Supersprint Exhaust.

Regards.
