In the Windows device manager, what show's up when you plug in the K-Pro to the usb port?

Its discovered as Hondata Kpro ECU..

When the ECU is discovered the USB controller driver is disabled. I have to manually enable the device for it to allow me to get online with it. Windows advises the drivers did not install properly and has the yellow exclamation sign.Once I unplug from ecu it auto disables the device at next connect due to driver error.

What directory are you pointing to to install the driver?

It sounds liek there is some problem on your laptop or with Windows. I would recommend trying a different laptop.

Worked on my bro's PC...Guess I just now need a recently hacked version of windows....But now Bat is dead lol..Charging tomorrow...

uPDATE...
I uninstalled SP2 rebooted a few times and then bamm...USB drivers installed correctly...I wouldn't say uninstalling sp2 is the answer for everyone though but seems like it worked for me for now anyway it is windows....

Spunkster could you take a look at some datalogs of mine? I'm new to this tunning thing...I just want some one to take a look at the data logs and see if they see anything I should change b4 I start tunning for reg driving...

in device manager it says it hondata k-series ecu
the werid thing is i know it works with my computer cuz i was able to datalog and such when i had it before and all of a sudden when i updated it started what is my next step?

and it... how did u fix your issue? can u give me a set by set so i can try it out

I uninstalled Service Pack 2. SP2 has issues with some USB device drivers. MS has instructions on how to fix USB issues with SP2..But I can't get updates from MS anymore so there steps wouldnt help me..Might help u though..
