It turns out that there was nothing wrong with my dist, 6a box or coil. I never hit more than 89%+- duty cycle but I'm guessing it hit a limiter or some safety thing???. I basically changed my injector size to 550 and cranked the fuel pressure up to 60 and it runs ok now. Had to do quite a bit of dicking around with the fuel tables to get it to idle right and cruise right. Now I can focus more time to getting it to run better at the top. Seems to be alright now. No detonation and pulls fairly smooth to 8k. Next step. Tuning when I get my lazy arse around to it.
