Incorrect. Switching off OBDII will not put the ECU in open loop.

Okay here's my 2 kdl files, and my Kal. Just to recap, this problem seems to persist and occur, when the car has been on previously and I restart the car, say 10-15 minutes later. BOOM CEL!!! after the 90 sec. threshold. Hopefully my .kdl file names will reflect appropriate circumstances? Pls assist. Thank you.

Your o2 resistance was 54 ohms at the error point. I'll raise the threshold (again) for the next release.

Thanks again!!
How were you able to compute the o2 resistance at the error point? I'm aware of the Formula for calc. Resistance= V/I, from the original equation, V=IR. How, where and what values were used to compute this internal resistance for my particular case? I used the O2 voltage on the .KDL file of 0.65v and O2 current as 4.5mA, this gives the resistance value= 144 Ohms !!! What am I doing wrong here? To get 54 Ohms, I was looking at 0.65v, I would need to have 12mA as a reading. The other scenario would be to get 54 Ohms, with 4.5mA, there would have to be 0.24v. reading? MMMHHH? Confused?

You're looking at the o2 sensor current, not the heater current. Don't ask how to find the heater internal resistance.

portman - Not ture - you still get open and closed loop functions - that's a different setting to trun off open/closed loop. just turn the shit off - that's what the settings are there for...

oh shit i didn't see where the master had already answered your question.. again, turn it off..

LOL, thanks, I owe it to Doug really, he gave me a short tune when he came to Montreal. It still needs some work, will try to go back to the dyno sometime this summer to work on my mid range etc. My tune peaked @ 230whp w/ 160 torque, It was tuned on 98 octane (mix between 102 + 94 ). However, I had to later reduce some timing between 7400-8500, when I went bck to 94.
