plx m300 datalog question

ok wait....
i am usein' the wideband wire 100% of the time, for the past 2 days i put the car in closed loop, and it still works, u just need to set the voltage @ the A/F u want to run the car at.

or am i missing someting?

To run closed loop, you must use the narrow band output

this is the part i don't get...
please explain why.
i have never used the narrow band side...
if u go in the closed loop section in ur romeditor, you will see target voltage, i have mine set to 3.7V at the votage the wideband reads 14.3 that is where i want it...
so that is why i am asking?
