As for as the in tank pump, she's flowing good. I have an AEM FP gauge inside the car that tracks a fluctuating 65-75psi while driving. I haven't driven long enough to get to a different fuel source.

@Hondata it should be controllable. There are tunes doing it with Hondata. Question is what are they doing to solve it?

Ok. If you get a chance, try running the ethanol out of the tank as much as possible and try some cold starts with regular pump gas and see if that helps. If not, then at least that could eliminate the spray pattern as being the problem.
I ran the ethanol out as far as possible without getting stranded. Its a6 16%E.

After changing the o2 sensor the car immediately fired up perfect so I drove it and all went well. I park it over night, cold start in the morning and its back again Fuel Status 8 and all. After holding the gas down for about 10 seconds it calms down and everything is normal. I log the drive and still have the pump go crazy even with more changes to the tune but no fuel status 8. Log and Tune below.

I then replaced spark plugs and gapped them to .022 since before I had them at .020 for the higher boost I was targeting. No change.

I started the live datalog before starting the car and the HPFP was already pegged at over 2800psi so I left it logging, went and unplugged the pump and the log continued to show the same figures. I'm not sure what other sensors to check at this point. I even tried a new FP sensor on the rail.

Maybe I need to try my 1450cc injectors to see if it's an injector issue as mentioned by Spunkster???

One of my e-tuned customers had similar problem with his FL5 and Hondata Fuel System when the cold weather came in few months ago.

Cold Fuel Start edits fixed his issue.

Hi, I was wondering if you could elaborate on the "Cold Fuel Start edit fixed his issue". I have the Hondata Fuel System Plus on my fk8 and have cold start issues as well, this occurs when I'm on high ethanol. When I'm on 91 or 93, it occurs only when the car has been sitting very long time like it is now since it's winter in MN. Were the edits made to the # of injectors under the ethanol fuel adjustments table? Thanks.

Under FUEL tab, there are tables for Warm Up Fuel and After Start Fuel

Those need adjusted to fix cold start issues. Running ethanol requires them to be increased to help them start.

When i tune ethanol customers on cold climate areas, this are usually a must.

***UPDATE***

After racking my head for months I finally just installed my 1450cc injectors and the car ran flawlessly. This led me to believe that the 2000's were bad. I reached out to XDI (great customer service btw) and they asked me to blow compressed air through them to see if they were stuck open and sure enough that was the case on at least 2 for sure. They sent me another set and we were back on the road with no issues.
