Sounds good. Just keep me in the loop the day before the install and I will get you the file for those mods.

I'll go ahead and put together the next version for the new parts and injectors. Do you know what day you will be installing everything? No big deal at all, just curious. So run this revision for now, you don't need to make a datalog for this one unless you want to.

Just kidding, it looks like parts are going on today. Do you have anything I can use to start up?

Couldn't handle all those parts sitting there staring at you? Haha

Here is the first one for you. This first calibration will be the 0* cam angle with vtec at 4500. We start on the 0* cam angle and work our way up from there. So shoot for 20 minutes in length, and one WOT pull from 2500-8600. The 0* cam angle is the least powerful, so don't get discouraged if it doesn't feel fast, it's just a starting point to build out all our tables.

Okay, I wasn't able to get a long drive in. I have the intake and throttle body on, I don't think my injector adapters are correct so it has the stock 310's in. I hope this part throttle is useful. I can get more tomorrow.

I see. Yeah you don't want to use the new calibration then because it's setup for the RDX injectors. Go ahead and upload the previous tune Rev03 I sent you today and make a drive with that. We'll clean that one up for now until you get everything else on.

Crisis averted, ecu went into recovery mode. Got it uploaded after a $70 tow.

That sucks. Yeah once the upload is initiate you have to follow through with it or else something like that can happen. Glad you got it worked out though, sorry it cost $70 though.

Ok, here are a few from today. I have noticed idle surge since parts are installed. Cannot find any vacuum leaks, coolant was a touch low.

Gotcha, yeah you might need to run the idle relearn process. Though the idle was fine when you just had the intake and TB right?

So you have everything on now except for the RDX injectors?

Was fine before, I can get my hands on a scan tool Monday.

Okay. Are you still planning on installing the RDXs?

I’m probably going to hold off for a bit on them. I got them for a suspicious price and wasn’t sure if they were legit or not.

Okay sounds good on the RDXs, I peaked at your injector duty cycle on that last one and it was 86% I think, but we can watch it during the tuning process. Here is the best link to information on fake RDXs I have found https://iconicauto-design.com/blogs/new ... -injectors . If you didn't pay over $300 for all of it, it's probably a fake package. Honestly if it's under $350, I would be suspicious.

If you're going to hold off on the RDXs, are you ready to go through the tuning process now? I know you were having the idle issue, but we can start you on the 0* cam angle and work our way through. If not, just let me know how the idle goes tomorrow and we will go from there. But check out the blog I posted on the RDXs and see what you think.
