Hi Tommy,

Yeah it can take a little getting used to the pedal map. But once you do, it's really gets good. We can always go back to another base pedal map that I have. I put the sport pedal map in because the last 10-15 9th gens I've tuned all liked the sport pedal map. But keep me in the loop, we can always change it up.

Overall it looks great for a start. It did have a couple knock, nothing major, so I smoothed out the areas of knock. A few knock like you had is not bad, hundreds of knock would be very bad. We'll get rid of all the knock though as we go.

On your third gear WOT pulls, I didn't see any that start out at 2000 rpm so I could only make adjustments over 4000 rpm. In this next datalog, try to lug it down to 2000 rpm so I can work on the WOT fueling from 2000-7600. Other than that it looks pretty good.

Here is the next one.

Sounds good Tommy. Yeah try to lug it down as close to 2000 as you can in each datalog so we can get as much of the fueling dialed in as possible.

I probably should have started you on the base pedal map. I may do that from now on, then offer the sport pedal map later on like I normally do. I don't like messing you guys up with the sport pedal, going straight to it from the lazy OEM pedal map.

We'll see how it looks in this new one.

Okay thanks I’ll try to do that cause I know for sure I’ll
Probably get another file that says it’s too big

Doing more datalogs with the same calibration won’t help. Give me a minute and I’ll go over this one.

Zip files won’t open in Flashpro. So that won’ help either.

That one looked really good Tommy. Had one knock up top where it will normally knock if it does.

Here is the next one for you. I made some small fueling adjustments and the ignition for the knock.

Okay I’ll put that on before I go in alittle bit this second one doesn’t feel like it pulls as much as the 1st one did but it’s smooth for sure

Gotcha. Intake temps were in the low 100’s, which it starts pulling fuel and timing at that point to keep it happy. Not sure what they were in the first one but I can check. Either way it’s holding a lot of timing. Once we get it sorted I’ll have you start making fourth gear pulls to make sure you don’t see knock there. It’s all part of the process to get it right. Safety is our goal, but we’ll try to keep as much performance in it as we can.

Yeah I’d rather it’d be safe too but them 2nd and 3rd gear pulls to me in the first like blew my mind on the difference from just the basic map I was running before

Yeah I've had to pull a little bit of timing since then for the knock. But I'll do what I can to keep it in there safely. Part of it is lugging it down to 2000rpms, makes it feel slower. Make some hits from like 4500 like in your first datalog and see what you think.

I’m not sure how much time I’ll be able to log the rest of the day but I thought the 3rd revision from 4500 rpms was really awesome it pulled pretty good and my shifts are excellent no matter what rpms I shifted at. I should of logged last night when I left to meet up for a fire because I was in back roads going like 80-90 the whole way And was able to downshift Anywhere and just put the pedal to the floor I had a lot of fun in the country driving

Sounds good. Yeah when you lug it down to 2000 for the wot pulls it really makes for a weird feel. It’s just part of the process to get all the fueling right.

Glad you’re having fun with it. It’s 95% there, we’re just making small adjustments here and there.

Just keep me in the loop, it’s plenty safe to have fun with.
