Please try to change the value in Active Fuel Tables and then apply the Merge function.
You should see the values in Fuel tables change, but first you have to download the Active Fuel tables from the ECU.
This button to download is inactive and prevents you to retrieve the Active Fuel tables store in ECU.

By the way, I notice that the Compare method is not counting with the Active Fuel Tuning parameters (needs to be fixed).
The merge and download buttons only should be visible and enable if Active Fuel Tuning is enable.
As refered earlier, the procedure to update AFT should check when downloading the map; Check if the AFT was enabled and then retrieve table from ECU... in this way, the Download button for AFT could disapear.

Well, I think we have identified the area which needs more work.

Looking at your descriptions, and the video, you must save the calibration after uploading. Not before uploading, not while uploading, but after uploading. If the live tuning indicator is yellow it is not going to work.

So I have no chance to use active tuning without notebook. I must upload to the ECU first and after uploading store the calibration on the notebook.

This steps not supported?
I have created the calibration offline => uploaded to the flash pro => going to the car => connect the flash pro to the OBDII => press the Programm button => flash the new calibration version to the ECU => start driving => disconnect FP => connect the FP to the notebook download calibration and datalog

Update:
Now the Live indicator has a green tick after uploading the calibration via Notebook directly. I have stored not the calibration. Tomorrow I will drive a round and download after the drive the calibration from the FP and I hope I will see the active tuning changes.

Updated the new map with 2820 with AFT and followed the procedure like described an notice the following:
  • I changed the minimum ECT to be 1ºC more based on Water Temperature Fuel Compensation Low table until no compensation (73ºC);
  • Upload the new map and a yellow marker appear in the Active Fuel Tuning Enable and Minimum ECT (bug?);
  • As described... with the yellow marker no AFT was performed;
  • With the previous version (2810), you could feel sometimes a few changes (the AFT working) and no possibility to download.

By the way... activating the AFT in AFM and Fuel at the same time, should be/could be done?

Suggestion: Add AFM Table with changes in case AFT enabled, like Active Fuel Tuning tables and
Hide the respective tree nodes if disabled (just like Use speed/density (MAP) fuel tables).
Thanks.

I can say AFT for the FN2 it does not work.
#1 I have uploaded the calibration directly from my Notebook over the Flashpro to the ECU. (Livetuning is green - all green)
#1.2 STORED calibration again on HDD.
#2 Disconnect Notebook from FP
#3 Start engine
#4 Start datalogging and drive around

After finishing of the drive connect Flashpro to Notebook and download the calibration in result no changes...

If someone could create a screencast to demonstrating a working way I could test it for the FN2 too.

Thanks

Edit: screencast sent to your Support email box incl. calibration's and datalog

Ok, I have re-tested this for both the FG2/FG6 and the FN2, for both VE and AFM tuning. Active tuning does work in each of those combinations. However, for the FN2 the download tables for the VE active tuning tables is not enabled. I'll fix that for the next release.
