The connections should be T (tapped/splice) into those locations?

Don't ever use t-taps. The wire should be tripped back and properly soldered and shrink wrapped.

They will be stripped back and properly soldered and shrink wrapped.

reason I asked: I wanted to make sure it was tapped and not cut and 1 end terminated and not used. (if that makes sense)

If you are referring to power and ground, you cannot cut them or the EUC will not get the power and ground or it will not supply the sensors as needed.
