How were you getting these readings previously? Did the connectivity problem start after you tried connecting something to the VSS input?

I haven't even tried to connect the vss input yet. I was getting that info together for when I finally received my kpro 4 back. But I can't even upload a tune to drive my car right now. So I have to fix that before wiring about the vss now.

It worked till I set it in for the Kpro 4 upgrade just last week. I started up the car. Pulled the ecu then sent it out for the upgrade Wednesday last week. Got it back this Monday.

Everything worked before I sent it off. Then I put it in the car and it won't connect. I took a datalog with it just before I shipped it out.

It sounds like you do not have the driver properly installed for the new K-Pro4. Try downloading the K-Pro driver setup file in the downloads section of our website and follow the instructions for manual installation on the pop-up window when you run it.

We test all K-Pro's and ECU's before they are shipped so we know it has to just be a driver installation issue.

I downloaded your driver files but it said they were corrupted or invalid. Could you try and see if you get the same issue?

I manually updated the usB hubs as well

FIXED!

No idea what the issue was. I deleted everything hondata off my computer then re downloaded kmanager. Then installed the Kpro drivers again. This time I didn't have any issues. It could have been that I downloaded it all through chrome vs internet explorer. Maybe that was it.

Either way, thank you. I'll post back about the vss once I wire it up

Hi

Is this sensor compatible to use with the Kpro?
Is it a direct hook up or do I need to install a resistor?
Should I pick from ABS ring (50 tooth) or use the back of the wheel studs?

That sensor will work. Don't forget the pull up resistor.
Wheel studs don't make a good pulse source because they are not 100% accurately spaced. An ABS tone ring would be best.

How should the resistor be wired in?
