This was a laptop datalog. I key'd off and shut the laptop putting it to sleep. When I opened it, it had recorded another bunch of empty data still thinking it was connected via bluetooth... I disconnected the bluetooth, tried to view the data in the log (the actual data, not the blank stuff), and the Sensors would not update.Hondata wrote:Works for me. Re: SManager 2.3.0
Can we get a USB interface to use with the Hondata Mobile? I know there are others out there that use it and was wondering if you could implement it for us that have V2?
Re: SManager 2.3.0
A USB interface? What do you mean - a USB cable from the phone/tablet to the s300? The s300 doesn't have the logic built into the USB connection like it does for Bluetooth. Plus, we have Bluetooth for a smartphone connection.daddynic12 wrote:Can we get a USB interface to use with the Hondata Mobile?

Re: SManager 2.3.1
Yes for the USB cable. I have another app that works with the hondata thru the usb cable and if you could implement something like that it would be great. The other app is called SDash. It does not work flawlessly yet but it would be great if hondata had this same capability. Thank you for your quick response.
Re: SManager 2.3.1
There's no advantage using the USB cable over Bluetooth. Why don't you convert SDash to use Bluetooth?

Re: SManager 2.3.2
Hondata,
I am having an issue with SManager 2.3.2.0 beta version. Under Analog Inputs and Options -> Sensors the Input doesn't change like before when the units are changed. For instance, if I select PSI it still displays BAR down below.
1.) Do I need to enter my compensation tables in volts and BAR or do I use PSI for the scalar?
2.) Is this intentional or by accident with the recent update?
3.) If intentional - WHY?
Thank you for your time and help.

Re: SManager 2.3.2
Can you give an example - I can't work out what 'the input' is in relation to the rest of your post?

Re: SManager 2.3.2
Sorry about that, but I am talking about where you actually enter in the voltage and what that voltage represents. Say 0 volts = 0 psi and then below that 5 volts = 100 psi.
It is still labeling this as BAR instead of PSI like I have it set in the drop down menu. My settings are CUSTOM / PRESSURE / PSI and at the bottom it still reads BAR in the Analog Input tab of the Parameters window.
The same thing happens when I try to use temperature and change it from the default Celsius to Fahrenheit the bottom still displays Celsius. When I try to use Percentage it says Lambda IIRC. The drop down box reads whag I want it to be it is only the bottom section where you input the scalar for the sensor that doesn't change.
I hope this helps you understand what I am trying to say now. I do apologize for my poor choice of words and lack of description earlier - long day.

Take a screen shot
Re: SManager 2.3.2
You are entering a custom conversion. Before 2.3.2 there never was a unit displayed for the conversion, which is now shown in order to clear up any confusion over what units are used for the conversion. The conversion itself is unchanged from previous versions.

Re: SManager 2.3.2
Thank you for explaining that even though I guess I still don't understand which to use. I will keep playing with it to figure it out. I had it working just fine before the update and I am sure I will get there again eventually.
PS - Kind of hard to take a screen shot from a phone otherwise I would have in my original post. ;-)

Re: SManager 2.3.2
Just wanted to report that I got it all working but I was forced to use what was displayed in the box instead of what I selected. This sucks because there is no on the fly inputs. You have to sit there and convert everything back and forth to get the scalars set properly. If I try to use the custom input in PSI it displays completely wrong. Converted to BAR and it is perfect. Same with temperature - have to convert to Celsius. If I select Percent is asks for BAR. If I select Unitless it asks for Celsius. Very misleading. If you need more screen shots I can provide as many as needed.

Re: SManager 2.3.2
That is correct - the units are in bar and celsius. It has always worked that way.

Re: SManager 2.3.2
It has? Man, my memory must be failing hard... I don't ever recall having to convert units. I guess I need to dig up some old calibration files. Should be it for me for a while haha - Thanks again.
