Ok so I need to connect the analog out from the gauge to the d10 on the ecu not a0 on s300 right?
Do I also need to connect the secondary analog out (narrow band simulated signal) from the gauge to d14?

YEs that is correct. You do not need to connect the narrow band output.

on the D connector the d10 pin has no wire going in it
is this normal?

I set up s300 manager to read lambda on a0 just to check and with a 0.2 voltage offset the numbers match those shown on the gauge so it's all good
currently running in open loop
should I still connect the analog out from the gauge to d10 if I currently have nothing going in that pin?

ok I connected the output to d10, with 0.2 voltage offset the values seem to match
14.7 afr at idle in closed loop - wideband input - lambda target
car is running good

at cold start until the wideband heats up the car runs very very lean and almost stalls for 5-6 seconds, after the wideband comes online everything is normal
this is not happening if I run the car in open loop
any idea why this happens?

Impossible to say without the caliration and a datalog showing the issue.

yeah, sorry. i'm just starting to learn, did a ton of googleing/reading :) 10 more tons required

went to the car now to record a cold start log and it started fine this time

Make sure your map sensor is getting its vacuum reference after the rotors. I see it all the time where it is hooked up on the throttle body.

you are right, my map sensor is on the throttle body so it cannot see boost
i have to re locate it
