What exactly clicked? When it get the error, what is the voltage at the ECU when cranking?

Sounded like a relay or something in the ECU clicked and reset the electrical system the code went off for like 5 secs then came back on till i cleared the DTC's i will look at the ECU voltage tonight.
Thanks for replying. Im new to K-Pro so im still learning about it. I saw the voltage drop again this morning though and when i went out to lunch i let it warm up then turned it off and back on and the code cleared the voltage dropped to 10.5 but the code didnt come back on so im still have the voltage drop problem. I'm going to try to go to a local audio store and get thicker wire so that maybe it will cause less of a drop. Are the alt, battery and ecu grounds the only ones that cause this or could the starter be going bad or the ground loose on it? If so i will take it and put it on a lift to check the starter out.

It may be that the battery does not have enough cold cranking amps. That is the main relay and it is not part of the ECU. THis means that the battery is to weak to start the car.

it has 500 CCA but it is an everstart from walmart i will go get an optima or something from a parts store and see if that fix's the problem.

Remember that there may be a difference between what a sticker says and what happens in the real world.

Yeah i know, so noone had the optima in i ordered it and it will be here tomorrow.
But till then, i noticed that after i drive around and turn the car off the battery reads 13.6ish volts till the discharge down to 12.4 well. im having a 1.5~2 volt drop consistently and when it is at 13.3 or so sometimes and it drops the light doesn't come on and im guessing cause it only drops to like 11.1-11.5
This is pretty much a telling sign i have a bad/corroded wire right? all the other stores with wire closed by the time i went to all the parts stores for the optima lol. so i couldnt do the bigger wire from the alt. i guess ill do that tomorrow too.
thanks,
-dillon

I think it is fixed now.
I redid all the grounds with 0 gauge and even ground the alternator with 0gauge to prevent a voltage drop. and havent had the CEL pop back up yet. since i did that and put the optima battery in friday.

I just went to lunch and the CEL came back on. My Voltage only dropped to 11.2 that time could it be the main relay causing this?

I don't need video, just pictures....it sometimes helps, we may see a possible problem.
