wiring aem wideband lambda input (whats best)
Re: wiring aem wideband lambda input (whats best)
Yes it works well, just make sure that the ECU has the components needed for this.
Re: wiring aem wideband lambda input (whats best)
^^^ Thank you. It does say in the "help" section and what was quoted from above, resistors "may" need to be cut out. It does not say that they definitely need to be cut out, or that they definitely do not need to be cut out. There is some gray area here and I would hate to go and hack up my ECU for no reason. Please shed some light on this issue. Thank you.

You will have to open the ECU and see if the required components are there.

Re: wiring aem wideband lambda input (whats best)
thanks for the pic. whty is R2 and R3 there in the first place. what function does it serve? am i losing anything by cutting them out?
Re: wiring aem wideband lambda input (whats best)
It will not work correctly if they are there.
Re: wiring aem wideband lambda input (whats best)
I wired in my wideband into spot D10 ELD and set it up in the parameters along with disabling the ELD in Misc. parameters. Where is the reading of the wideband at? Is it now the ELD under Sensors? I thought it was AF under Sensors, but my old Datalogs showed the AF with similar voltage. I do still have my stock O2 in and wired to the s300.

Thanks for the response - my question was what is the function of R2/R3 in the uncut ECU, and when u cut it out does it affect anything elseSpunkster wrote:It will not work correctly if they are there.
