It should be a easy fix then... Hopefully.
I'll hold off getting my car tuned until this has been sorted.

i think no reason to stop tunng.
you got the CEL anyway and won't be able to get rid of it (have you tried "return ECU to stock" option? bacuase i didn't).
air pump is important only at cold engine operation and it doesn't affect anything else.

No, I've not tried to return to stock. I may try that just to make sure it does clear it.
I'm not to bothered by this cel to be honest, I just don't like to see the engine light on all the time.
I'll need to try letting the car warm up to the point where the pump would normally be off, then clear the code and see if it stays off.
Can you still hear your pump come on when you start your car?
I'll check today again, but I think my one didn't.

pump doesn't work at all.
clearing CEL doesn't help - it comes back almost immidiately.
