your previous post says you have not uploaded to the ECU using the new version though.

no no - i meant that with new SW installed the FP device updated itself.
i didn't do it myself - i think i saw it do it automaticaly.

But you still have not uploaded your calibration to the ECU using the newest version of software.

do you mean to Flash the ECU with some tune?

just to update - after i uploaded "stock equivalent Euro 2006+" tune to the cars ECU the knock readings started to work OK.
i actually saw quite a lot of knok counts - around 150 after 40 minutes of driving
most of them on cylinder 2.
that car stock except AEM v2 intake.
is this normal?
