So I just got back from letting sam diagnos my ecu and it was deemed to be a bad ecu.

he started by remove the chip and installing it in his ecu where it work properly as it should.

then he took my ecu returned it back to its stock configuration and put it in one of his shop cars. he said once he turned the key to the on position instead of turning on the fuel pump to prime it and shut it down like it should, it just kept the fuel pump on. it also had a solid CEL that had no codes stored

So its time to start back at square one find a new ecu and get anther install kit and try it all again.

thank guys for your help

Quik question

in the wideband install procedures, it says that certain ecus reuire the cutting of the r jumpers(resistors)

is there a list of these specific ecus? i asked this question on another forum, just figgured I could get an awnser for it here, so I could make it know on that forum.

If the reading are not matching up then try cutting the resistors.

OK, so there is no specific list. you just cut them if your readings are off

thanks again
