Civic Ep3 (EU) with 3 problems

Post by Ursu88 »

Hello
A have a Honda Civic Ep3 2002 (EU) with PRC Ecu, k24/k20 frank, k20a cams, walbro 255 fuel pump.
K-pro serial is 14363.
Version software 4.3.5.
K –pro V3
i run the car in close loop. (i saw my o2 sensors wont work with my prc ecu)
I had this engine with no problems in my civic ej9 96-00. (no errors in hondata)

After I swap the engine and tranny in the EP3 I had the following problems.

1. I have the battery light on.
The wiring was check by a electrician and its ok, the alternator is ok, the battery is new.
Battery voltage stays between 13.8-14.2 when the engine is running.

2.I have the P0452 eror- Fuel Tank Pressure sensor low voltage when I star the car. If I delete the error it wont appear again that day.
Does my car has this sensor? I saw in other link that I can disable it? how?

3.After I drive the car about 50-60 min, i gradually lose power.
the more I go, the more I lose power, hardly gain 6k-7k rpm

please help
thanks

What calibration type are you using?

Is this a Civic Type R?

Yes, it's a Civic Type R.
For the moment i use the base map from Hondata. (k24-tsx-stock.kal)
After i made the ,,frank" , I didnt get to my local tuner to make me a calibration for my setup. (but certainly will not know what is the problem with the battery light - i allready asked him).

i also have another map (from a friend of mine), where the battery light does not turn on at all. neither when I put the keys in contact.
If you want, i can upload both maps when i get home from work.

thanks a lot.

Have you tried disabling the multiplexor?

I just notice that that is a difference between the 2 calibrations you have posted.

Now take the calibration you said didn't get the light on and enable the multiplexor and re-upload.

It appears there may be a issue with some wiring after swapping the engine. To be sure you should try the ECU in a known working vehicle.
