S300 having issues datalogging and uploading ?

Post by Kdotharrison »

Whats up

Hondata s300v3 into a P72 ecu by evans tunning. number on hondata box # 39544. currently left ecu at tuners shop with carans is not my tuner).
fresh semi built boosted b18c1 .

tried 3 different laptops . with 2 different issues. These 2 laptops have been used to tune other vehicles in the past ! Laptop #1 can datalog ,upload tunes and can change base map fuel ratio in idle without a problem. Once in gear and start to do a pull hondata freezes and does not respond (i.e crash). unplug and plugged back in several times same thing happens.

Laptop #2 will not upload the correct basemaps, uploads a random corrupt file. Also when changing fuel values it does the opposite of your command. If you were to try to take -5 fuel away, instead it would add +5 fuel. completely backwards no matter what. tried multiple times same results.

Started after the current update if that helps , no engine codes or anything showing from Hondata

1994 Acura Integra gsr . Innovate afr guage grounded to pin a26 boost and oil pressure gauges are grounded to vehicle chassis Hot wires are wired to the open accessory fuse spots . valve cover has ground , transmission has 2, starter has ground( all to the chassis and secure) Radiator fan is directly wired and grounded to the harness wires.

You list 2 types of spark plugs, which ones are you actually using? Are they resistor type or non-resistor type?

Are you using OEM spark plug wires or are they aftermarket? Same for Cap and rotor.

From Help, About, what is the version of software you are using?

What does not make sense here is that you are getting different things from different laptops, unless you have not closed and reopened then loaded the calibration into the software and re-uploaded on a different laptop.

You said you tried this with 3 laptops and 2 had issues. Are you saying that the 3rd laptop had no issues?

Pretty much as soon as it gets under load in first gear it just crashes for the laptop that can actually upload the correct basemap
