S300 Bluetooth

Hi, I just recently bought an android radio from Pumpkin. I have tried to connect the head unit to the s300 but for some reason it will find it but wont pair. I was wondering if the S300 is compatable with Android Oreo? That is what the head unit has sense its the new operating system for Android, kinda like lollipop. It should be able to connect without pairing. Does it show the s300 at any point?

I have seen that you usually have to pair the Bluetooth in the operating system first, then the Hondata app will be able to see it and connect.
