Hi.
PRA - K-PRO V4 (V4.3.5)
I am using a Wideband Lambda AEM 30-4110 with the analog output from the lambda wired to the Analogue input A0 Red wire on the K-pro 4.
I beleive I have enetered everything correctly on the calibration (standard factory PRA calibration) to use the external wideband lambda, however when I start the car it runs very lean 18.5 :1
The K-pro shows this on the Analogue input but the Air/Fuel ration says 14.7:1 and so wont richen up the fueling.
Analog input:
Closed Loop:
Closed Loop Advanced:
And a screen shot of the sensor outputs with the engine running (sorry next time I wil get the data logs)

Re: K-PRO V4 Wideband lambda problem - Running lean
You need to post the calibrations and a datalog showing the issue.
Re: K-PRO V4 Wideband lambda problem - Running lean
Calibration should be attached.
I didnt take a data log but will do in the next few days.
Would you mind looking at the calibration to see if there is anything obvious that I have missed?
thank you for your help
Kind regards
lee

Re: K-PRO V4 Wideband lambda problem - Running lean
I know its not a datalog but I took these screen grabs from the sensor list with the car running.
Capture 1 shows the AF as 14.7:1 and AFCMD as 14.7:1 However Capture 2 shows AN0 (which is the analog output from the AEM 30-4110 wideband) as 18.35:1 The Closed loop parameter is set to EXTERNAL WIDEBAND Analog 0 AEM 30-4110
I dont understand why the ECU is seeing an AF at 14.7:1 as there is no other lambda on the car. Do ou know where it could be getting this signal from?

Re: K-PRO V4 Wideband lambda problem - Running lean
With the ADVANCED CLOSED LOOP on factory settings
Data log attahed below shows a constant 14.7:1 AF ratio but the actual wideband lambda is reading lean at 18:1

Re: K-PRO V4 Wideband lambda problem - Running lean
Then I changed the CLOSED LOOP ADVANCED parameter "Open/closed loop target (KPRO 4) and ticked the "enable lambda look up table"
The logs show AF as 14.7:1 but the wideband was now reading rich at 11:1

Re: K-PRO V4 Wideband lambda problem - Running lean
I have the exact same problem. Have been asking for help here aswell...
Kpro v4 with AEM wideband wired in on ANALOG 0. I also select it the same as you do.
- In closed loop my car will lean itself out (I have no idea why...)
- In open loop it will run perfectly
I think I've got one answer for you: AF: 14.70 is just your target lambda. It is not the AFR that the ecu is reading.
If you want to see your AFR that you are measuring you have to scroll down and look@ AN0: ... Or something like that if I recall correctly.

Re: K-PRO V4 Wideband lambda problem - Running lean
AFCMD is the commanded AFR, the value above that (AF) should show what your wideband reads.
When you are not using a wideband as primary sensor the AF will show a static 14.7:1 just like yours are doing now.
I did take a look on the logs but not sure what the problem is here, maybe try and clear ecu and upload your calibration again.
Or wait for a smarter answer from Hondata :)

the problem is the analog0 channel doesnt show on the data logs, but if you look at the screen capture below it shows A0 as 18.3:1
The problem is its running lean, and the ecu can see its running lean via A0 but it doesnt try to correct the mixture
