Daughterboard error but only when uploading to k100.

tried reinstalling usb drivers within the software and it says error, checked they where up to date manually and they are so thats not an issue.
im really stuck with this, ive tried everything i can to help myself before ending up here.
is it best practise to open the software then connect to laptop, then switch on ign?
want to be sure im doing everything the correct way

At this point do not try further. But are you able to datalog when using a K-Pro v4 with a upload for k100?

with the V4 i CANNOT datalog once uploaded to k100, with the V3 i CAN.

hi guys,
thought id pop in and see how we are going with this? had a tune organised next weekens for k100, if i have to cancel then so be it but id rather not let a customer down if i can.

You cannot datalog when uploading for k100. You should do all tuning and datalogging with normal uploads and only upload for k100 when completely done.

im not datalogging whilst uploading to k100, i can datalog afterwards though to read the error code that comes up.
do we have any idea whats going on with this upload error as im getting customers all over asking about k100

Do not do this. Only datalog with a regular calibration uploaded. Once you have uploaded for k100 you should not datalog as it is not designed to communicate properly with a k100 upload.

still leaves me with the daughterboard error after an upload to k100 though. which is the major issue im having.

There is no problem if you upload for k100 then put the k100 board in. I have tested this and found no problems.

ok well the issue is with me then isnt it, ill try again but out of the 30 or so k100 uploads ive done its worked twice. every other time i get the daughterboard error just after an upload for k100.

You cannot datalog with a K-Pro once you have uploaded for K100. All datalogging must be done with a regular K-Pro upload.
