Bug with Undo/Redo in Tables?

Post by creizlein »

Not sure if this is by design or a know bug, but i have been seeing really strange behaviors when using Undo/Redo edit functions and the Fuel tables.
There are several ways to reproduce the issue and different behaviors happens, but for instance, a clear one:

1) Start a new calibration, select itr-stock.skl map, go to primary fuel tables
2) select any cell and decrease or increase (ctrl+d / ctrl+i) its value 2 or more times
3) move to another cell and do the same, modify the value 2 or more times
4) press ctrl+z or do Undo, both cells get modified, not just the last one, and if you redo back only the last one get redoed.

This behavior seems to change a LOT with different maps, if you do the SAME steps but with stockd16.skl map the whole col6 gets modified.
Hope this helps, its kind of annoying when you modify one cell and then press ctrl+z and you see 10+ more cells get modified

Tested in v2.6.6.0

I checked and played a lot with the Ignition tables and where not able to reproduce the problem so it looks that only happens with fuel.

Anyone was able to check on this and/or reproduce the issue? would be good to confirm.
It is a really annoying thing to press ctrl+z to undo one value change and have +10 cells modified.

There is some odd behavior there. Increasing 2 cells 1% at a time, 1 cell at a time the second undo changes both cells simultaneously. It could possibly have something to do with 1% of a given number isn't going to be the same value of a larger number but I'm not sure. The undo's and redo's should be tracked by actual value change and not percentages. This could just be a nit pick though.

That seems about right, maybe it has something to do with that math calculation, but I am more worried about the fact that when you undo 1 cell it changes OTHER cells not just the one you undooed, most of the times when you do ctrl+z it changes all the cells or 50% of them, at least it "highlight" them with red border as the values were changed.... Now that i am explaining maybe the behavior only happens when working with %, but thats the only view I use...

It did highlight columns 1 and 2 green as if they were changed but I don't think they actually moved, was like some odd glitch since I did alter those 2 entire columns before the last save.

exactly, seems like an odd glitch, but some times it also changes the values as well not just highlight them
