Kpro ITB setup, knock limit and Retard maps

Post by fabiangt79 »

Hi,

I have a Kswop 2.4 motor with ITB, using the N-alpha function running TPS as load side on the fuel map i can see 13 colunm tunable.

But on the ignition map, i can only see 10 columns tunable, the problem is the Retard, knock ignition low/high map runs to column 13 on WOT, i am facing the car with knock retard when Vtec just opens, the requested timing is 24 degree but the log shows 18 degree on 5100 to 5200.

The edit to insert load index is grey off, which i cannot select.

- EG Kswop
- #46445
- version 4.3.4
Possible for hondata to add in this additional colums for ignition and knock limit maps so that more resolution can be used for tuning.

Attached datalog and calibration file.

Do you have the MAP sensor connected and reading vacuum?

Hi,

MAP Sensor is not connected and there was no reading when tuned. How does this affect the load side?

N-alpha looks up TPS for load right?

The MAP still needs to be connected and reading manifold pressure.

by connecting map sensor and reading map pressure will resolve the knock retard issue?

Start by connecting the MAP sensor and see if that resolves your issues when properly tuned.
