I need help trying to run my flashpro to an aftermarket double din head unit. I do not have bluetooth on my flashpro and I am looking to purchase a new head unit for may SI, basically it would look like the readout in a GTR's center console or a vehicle running a stand alone ecu. I would like to just plug the FP into the obd2 and the usb directly into the head unit. Is there anyone out there that has done this? My main problem is finding the right head unit to use, I don't know what sort of OS i would need to be running in the head unit, if I can use a head unit with just the app or if i need to be able to run the full FP program since it will be directly be connected to the FP via usb.
If anyone has ever done this or anyone knows what type of head unit I should be running so I can run this setup. It would be great to be able to have a readout of live data, shift lights, psi, etc. I don't necessarily need to be able to make changes to my MAP's but it would be nice to be able to make minor adjustments to things like the 2step. The #1 question I have is what head unit I need to purchase. It obviously needs a USB input and some sort of windows based OS or maybe android? I just don't know for sure.
I want to do this because I think it would be a fun winter project and would like to save money by not having to purchase the bluetooth upgrade. It would also be nice to have a better head unit with a touchscreen and a backuup cam, but if I need a $1,400 head unit the bluetooth upgrade would be the better option. I do not plan on adding a monster stereo or anything my car makes its own beautiful music.

The Bluetooth upgrade would be your best option in this case as I do not know of anything that will allow you to do what you want to do.
