S300 password locked?

So I had a S300 V3 i just sold to a guy a few months ago. I forgot I had put a password on the software "tune". Now he's pissed off at me because I cant remember what the password was and he says he cant do anything with it. He says he's locked out. I thought that it was merrily a software lock so the tune couldn't be changed without the password? Can he just start with a new tune? or does he need the password?

And.... if he needs the password what would be the easiest way to make that happen since he lives 200 miles away?

With the s300 you can't lock the calibration, but there is a security password to protect the user details and upload. If you can't remember the password, there is a function to email it to yourself.

How do you email it to yourself because all I can find is info for lost password for forum and/or vault.

I guess I couldn't figure it out because I wasn't hooked up to the ECU. I had sold it to a guy 2 hours away and forgot I had a password lock on it. But he was able to hook up with his laptop and enter info in and then password was email to me and i gave it to him.
