Full throttle shifting on uk ep3

Done a lot of research on this, I understand what s required but most people say use input e22 however this input is already used according to wiring diagrams. What I’m trying to find out is wether that input is actually required for the car run. If it’s is then how do we go about installing the switch to a uk ep3.

The wiring diagrams I’ve seen are not uk specific which doesn’t help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

E22 is the brake switch input; not required for correction operation of the ECU.
