Sensor calibration
Forgive me since I know this is a simple question, but I would like the correct information prior to proceeding. First, is there a preferred wideband sensor that can be used without a gauge on the s300? Also, is it possible to utilize the factory fuel sending unit in order to display fuel level values since it is resistance based as opposed to voltage. Thank you ahead of time.

personally I prefer the innovate lc-2 wideband, mainly because it can be programmed however you want. Which means you can run it to pin d14 (o2) and never have to worry about exceeding 3.7volts if you program the lc2 on a 0v-3.7v scale

We recommend the PLX widebands as we have been using them for nearly 13 years. The factory narrowband sensor cannot read accurately enough to tune with.

Thank you. And in regards to the factory fuel sending unit, is there any way to monitor the fuel level if the resistance values are known? I’m asking because the gauge cluster has been replaced with a tablet and it would be helpful to see the “fuel level” when monitoring via Bluetooth.

That is not something that can be measured with the ECU or s300.
