Hondata 4 bar map sensor question

Hi Guys,

I recently installed a Hondata 4 bar map sensor on my turbo b20vtec and before I turned it on, I went and changed the settings in the Smanager to activate the Hondata 4 bar map sensor. The car tries to start but it dies down, as soon as I put the factory map sensor it turns back on without any problems. My question is does the Hondata 4 bar map sensor need to be tuned in order for it to work? or should it be a plug and play type of thing?

I am just trying to get an answer because if I have a defective unit, I need to send it back. I appreciate your feedback. Thanks

IT should be plug and play if you upload the correct settings to your calibration. From Help, About, what is the version of software you are using? Are you sure it is actually uploading the change to the ECU?

Thank you so much for your help, that was exactly what it was. I had not uploaded it to the ecu, I thought by just enabling the changes that it would be okay. Newbie mistake, thanks for solving my problem.
