Displaying sensor info problem

Post by guamrsx »

I just put my KPRO into the car and when it is all connected and it says ignition on and then the other block says modified, I click on the display button to see what the sensors are doing and it reads nothing. Also I can't get my idle to come down to what I have set in the parameters. It just keeps bouncing around from about 1 grand up to 2 and back down. It only does this when there is no load on the motor. When I had the guardian hooked my problem was idle too low. Now I have just the opposite. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Other than that the car is smokin fast.

did you click on the yellow lightning bolt to datalog (that will then show whats going on while the car is running in the display). I assume you did...if you did, could be a slight problem with the kpro. I'd call them for a quicker answer imo..they aren't always on the forum.

Thanks 02, No i didnt know to click the yellow lightning bolt. I will try that on my way to work. I thought that when it was all hooked up then you would be able to see all that. I didnt have the surging problem before with the guardian and I didnt change anything but the ECU so I am hoping that I can get this all figured out. It make driving at slow speeds hell.

I see on your other post you got the idle figured out. yeah, just click on the yellow bolt and you'll see the stuff going on in your display. to actually record...just simply push the red record button. then you can save the datalog by going to datalog and save as.

Thanks for the info. I am going to take a datalog and send to them to review and see if everything is allright. It seems at idle it sounds like it misses a cylinder. Will look into later.
