s300 v3 + LC1

Post by bruce974 »

Hi all

I'm newbie with Hondata S300 and I need some advises.

I have a complete P06 ecu bought with Xenocron.
I tried to use the yellow wire of the LC1 with D14 pin but it seems not work very well.
My AFR value stays à 18 and its very different of the value that i have with the gauge linked on the WB.
I already removed the oem narrowband, set in Smanager in openloop mode and disabled o2 heater.

which way is better for the lc1 with s300, d14 input or digital input with the S300?

I hope i will have a lot of answers :)

D14 is not a good input to use as it cannot read the full voltage range. I would recommend that you use D10 or one of the other analog inputs on the ECU.

thank you for your reply Spunkster.
I did try D10 pin and Analogic input AN0 too, but the value by theses two ways are very differents than the value that i have with the gauge.
I dont know why i can't have the same value at the gauge and in the logger.

At this time I try to tune just the idle using my wb gauge but when AFR is at 14.7:1 the idle speed is so high (1800 rpm).
to can decrease idle speed I modified fuel trim (-40) and successed to have idle speed at 850 rpm, but the mixture is so much lean 19:1
How can I have the good idle speed with the good mixture?

here my calibration

Have you removed the resistors as it says to do in the help file: http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/wi ... ghtsub=d10

Yes today I removed r136 and r138, but not change nothing.
The value of AFR in smanager and the gauge stay different.

I did try with logworks too.
and Logworks values are same than the gauge's values :(

I am desperate how its so hard to have good AFR reading in smanager

Where are you getting power and ground for the wideband?

A25 for power and A26 for ground

Use a multimeter to verify that the voltage seen by the ECU is the same as at the pins.

Thanks a lot for your help Spkunster.
I found what is the problem I used the analog output 1 of the Lc1 who give 0- 1v thats why
Now I used the analog output 2 who give 0-5v and I have normal AFR reading by ELD pin.

But I want to use analog input of the S300 (AN0) and I have funny values.
I connected AN0 of the s300 to the 0-5v output of the wideband and tried with and without ground wire of the analog input but change nothing and have funny values like 40:1

my datalog and calibration files

The only way to run closed loop or lean protection with the s300 is to use one of the ECU inputs. If you use the inputs on the s300 it will work for datalogging only. Make sure that you have the calibration information set correctly for the AN0 input.

Where in SManager do I calibrate the AN0 input information so that it can properly display the AFR values?

In the analog inputs section of the parameters window.

Alright so I got my ECU to read the analog input (connected to Analog 0). However, the values are off between the gauge and what's displayed in SManager. However, two things:

1) So I adjusted the Voltage Offset value in the ECU in the Analog Inputs tab and the values between the gauge and Smanager matched up, though there seems to be a little delay between the two. When I started adjusting the fuel map in the low speed table the values in the ECU doesn't seem to keep up with the values shown on the gauge. It never seems to catch up though.

2) The note says "If you need to enter a non-zero offset, then your analog ground is incorrect". However, my wideband doesn't have an analog ground. What can I do to get a clean analog reading?

Where do you have the power and ground connected for the wideband?

I have my ground connected behind the kick panel on the driver side and the power is fused tapped into the fuse box under the dash.
