00 S2000 Wideband using A30 ELD pin
00 S2000 Wideband using A30 ELD pin
So I have an AEM wideband I want to connect to my Kpro ECU ELD A30 pin (green/red stripe wire) for dataloging. Do I tap and share the ELD wire or do I cut it off and solder it exclusively to get input from the wideband sensor? Thanks.
Re: 00 S2000 Wideband using A30 ELD pin
You must cut it, as it can no longer be connected to its original location.
Re: 00 S2000 Wideband using A30 ELD pin
Thanks! got it working, but the datalog shows different numbers from my gauge. seems to be off by 1-1.5 AF could it be the way it's grounded? It's on a common ground on the chassis and It gets power from the fusebox under the panel. I got Kpro4. I got the conversion tables filled according to the AEM values.
Re: 00 S2000 Wideband using A30 ELD pin
Have you adjusted the offset voltage until it matches?
Re: 00 S2000 Wideband using A30 ELD pin
I did, but it seems like I have to adjust it every time I start the car to a different value it varies between -0.5V and -0.8V so far. ELD has to be disabled right?
Re: 00 S2000 Wideband using A30 ELD pin
If it is different every time, then it sounds like there may be a problem with the ground you are using. It should be the same every time.
Re: 00 S2000 Wideband using A30 ELD pin
I've changed the ground from a common ground to it's own individual chasis ground, to taping into the PG2 ECU Power Ground and it's doing the same thing. I start up the car and the kmanager, adjust the voltage offset until it matches my gauge, but as soon as I turn off the car or if I close kmanager and open it again is off sync. What am I doing wrong?
Re: 00 S2000 Wideband using A30 ELD pin
What is the serial number of your K-Pro board inside the ECU?
Re: 00 S2000 Wideband using A30 ELD pin
This is a version 4 K-Pro, you should use the analog input on the K-Pro board for the wideband and you will then be able to run closed loop from the wideband as well.
