loading calibration issue

Post by Mr Plow »

Does anybody have an issue with the software when they load up a civic calibration? Example: Open software and load up k20a3-civic-550cc12ohm-revhard-10psi and then look at the idle tab. Does it say lambda idle target 0:1?? Could this be the idle issue I'm having?? My car runs great but the idle keeps going up and up till 4k before it gets shut down.. Please let me know.

The PNF ECU does not support changing the target idle lambda.

If your idle is that high, block off the idle port while the engine is running. It should stall. If not, you have a vacuum leak in the manifold. Also check that the throttle plate is fully closed.

Thanks. The shop fabricated a block off plate and made adjustments to tps and idle screw or what not. Now my idle has stabilized and no more surging.
