datalogging freezes

Post by fabian_em1 »

so everytime my s300 starts datalogging it freezes all the time now, it used to never do that, i have my on board datalog to start at 3000 rpm, and when it starts it freezes around 3500 rpm- 4000 rpms and then it works again, its really annoying since i cant tune the engine very well since this happens, i bought a new usb cable like the one hondata provides but it does not help. any help would be appriciated

Turn off on-board datalogging if you are trying to datalog using the laptop.

im using the oem spark plugs, and it does it even when the usb cable is not connected to the laptop.
i made a run with on board datalog on, then i hooked up my laptop and i check datalog and it only datalogged for 5 seconds, it froze between 3000 rpms and 6000 rpms after that it started working again, i already tried, different cable, different laptop, and same thing, something is wrong with onboard datalogging. Its really bugging me cause it never did this before.

The battery voltage could be an issue. I would recommend trying the ECU in a known working car and also try to resolve why your battery voltage is high.

mine started doing this today as well on the laptop. Onboard datalogging is off and plugs are BKR6E-11. sometimes it says online but doesnt update the sensors as well. my digital inputs refresh like normal just nothing from the ecu.

It must be cut with any Hondata system, as it says in the installation instructions.
