P1166 CODE AND STUCKED TO 10.70 A/F
ive been experiencing P1166 and always in 10.70 A/f, since I first started my car with my bnew kpro v4. the car has not been driven yet as I have no plate and its winter here in our place. attached here is my datalog for the first start and the second one was my latest log. my primary o2 sensor is bnew and I don't have 2ndary o2 sensor. the latest datalog recorded if you noticed I put it into gears. the car is jacked up just to test my tranny. ive been dealing this for a month now. and i kept searching for an answer in the net but nothing had come for a solution.

What O2 sensor are you using?
Have you had opportunity to test the sensor in another car to confirm it's not faulty?
I would also check the wiring to the sensor is correct.
Could you share the calibration file too please?

trying this o2 sensor to another car is along shot, coz i don't know anybody here.
i traced the wires from the sensor to the ecu and all are correct.

Can't see anything immediately wrong on the calibration but one of the Hondata guys maybe able to comment further.
Sounds like a sensor, wiring or ECU fault to me.

You need to try process of elimination and the best way till be to try the ECU in a known working vehicle and also try the sensor in a known working vehicle.

I have not try this ecu nor the 02 sensor to a known good car. but heres what I got from my multitester, followed the DTC P1166 trouble shooting from the rsx s helms. with the ignition on IISpunkster wrote:You need to try process of elimination and the best way till be to try the ECU in a known working vehicle and also try the sensor in a known working vehicle.
A1 and A24 = 2.36 V
Is there a battery voltage? NO
Go to step 5. and measure A22 and A24
A22 and A24= 5.0 V
is there a battery voltage? NO
Go to step 10. and disconnect A(31P) and the A/F sensor 4p connector and check continuity terminal no.3 on the A/F and body ground
Terminal 3 A/F to body ground = No
Go to step 13. Turn ignition to II and measure voltage E8 and A24
E8 and A24= 5V
Is there a battery voltage= No
Go to Step 15
Check continuity in the wires between A/F sensors and fuses, = i cannot find any fuses in my ek kswap from the under dash and hood fuse box for 02 sensors
Spunkter.. when its says is there battery voltage? that means 12v right?
Re: P1166 CODE AND STUCKED TO 10.70 A/F
whatever the battery voltage is at the battery itself.

ok thanks...Spunkster wrote:whatever the battery voltage is at the battery itself.
so for the values it presented with the trouble shooting i just made down below.. which made you think is my problem. for p1166 code and A/F stucked to 10.70?
thanks so much and more power

You need to contact whoever did the harness for your swap for assistance with this.

its me who installed the engine harness and that harness came off rsx-s.Spunkster wrote:You need to contact whoever did the harness for your swap for assistance with this.
my question is... are those values or volts came out on those pins normal
