P08-020 AUZ HELP!! :(

Post by EGHATCH »

has anyone here tried this ecu? when i opened the ecu, it came with a factory external EPROM (with gold sticker). then i rechipped it, installed the IC socket and a crome bin...in ignition, the CEL goes away, so i start the car, after about 2-3 minutes, SOLID CEL comes in!!! wtf is that about...i thought it was checksum or something since crome had issues with that, so i installed my hondata s200....same thing, after 2-3 minutes, CEL goes in and runs in limp mode...

all of our P08 ARJ/ARH are working perfectly, it was my first time to see an AUZ

If the interface box is flashing there is a prblem with either the Rom image or the socketing of the ecu. You will not be able to datalog unless the interface box is solid.

yeah, that's what i've read....i traced all connections and it seems to be okay...that's what keeps bothering me, CEL goes out in ignition, but when you start the car, after 1 min, CEL goes in..SOLID CEL and runs in limp. ?!

If the interface box is flashing, then you have the wrong rom image.
