Hondata S300 will not retain changes made..

I installed a turbo on my 95 GSR with a P28 S300. When it came time to start it and get it tuned, I downloaded a base map and tried changing overall fuel trim. It uploads fine but will not "remember" any changes I made. I had my ECU tested by the place I purchased everything from, and they say the problem lies in the S300 unit and that my P28 itself is fine. Any ideas on what I can do?

What is the serial number that is on the s300 board inside the ECU?

It sounds like the battery has failed in the s300. Since this cannot be replaced, you will need to upgrade to the version 3. Details on upgrading can be found at: https://www.hondata.com/downloads/s300v ... e_form.pdf
