Solid red light

Post by scottek »

Hello,

My ECU (p28 with s300) has a solid red light coming from the port where you plug in the cable which is usually green. When i start the car the starter motor works but it doesnt fire up.

I connected to a laptop and can load my map up which will turn the light green and the car will start but cut out after 5 seconds or so. When I shut the car off and back on again the light is red again and the car will not start at all until I upload a map again.

I've had the s300 for about 4-5 years now.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

It sounds like the battery has failed and there is no way to fix that. The only option is to upgrade from a faulty s300. Details can be found at: https://www.hondata.com/downloads/s300v ... e_form.pdf
