Problems with uploaded calibrations

Post by Roberts »

I am having wierd issue with my Hondata V1 when uploading calibration file from different laptops.

I have one laptop which I use for tuning my Hondata and everything works fine. I have tried 2 other laptops and whenever I upload calibration file car won't start, throws all possible ecu codes (barometric sensor, map sensor etc.) Looks like it's reads standard ecu map. Connects fine and datalogs fine. When I upload same file from my "good" laptop, everything works like it should and reads uploaded calibration fine.

What is the serial number that is on the s300 board inside the ECU?

From Help, About what versions of software are you using?

I would make sure all of your laptops have the newest software installed. then make sure the firmware on the s300 unit is up to date using your "good" laptop while on wifi. upload the calibration again from the good laptop, then download the calibration from the ecu to the "bad" laptops, close smanager, open it again, and try uploading again from the bad laptop using the file you just downloaded. should work fine from then on.

It sounds to me like there's a conflict with software and firmware between everything

Thanks for the input and suggestions crluver123

Just got back from garage and still couldn't get upload working from my other (bad) laptop.
Both laptops have the latest SManager installed. All usb drivers updated while laptops are connected to ethernet. As soon as file is downloaded from ecu, saved and uploaded from "bad" laptop, s300 does not read calibration and car won't run.

How is s300 firmware updated and where can I check current version?

Do not download the calibration from the laptop. Try opening a new calibration or a previously saved calibration that works and is saved on the laptop.

Created new calibration om "bad" laptop, uploaded to ECU and it worked! Just have to copy boost tables and it will be good to go.
Thanks for the tips and response!
