cant upload map

hello. after installing the latest software for kmanager i cant upload anymore maps it just telling me that upload is failed...
i tried to downgrade back to the older version but now it sais that is out of date and i cant use it anymore... please help... version is 4.3.1 thanks

Don't downgrade software versions.
Perform Online -> Tools -> Erase ECU. Then power off the ECU and unplug the USB for 2 minutes. Then connect and try to upload.
Also check the battery voltage is ok.

i cant even erase cpu it says the same that erase failed...
the battery is brand new so..

What is the serial number that is on the K-Pro Board inside the ECU?

can i see it from the info or i have to open the cover of the ecu?

Open the lid and look at the board itself.

The weekend that just passed was the first time I actually messed with the kpro due to fuel system wasn't finished... wat had me confused, I had the kpro connected to the laptop only and it said driver installed, ignition on, and online on. And once I tap the lightning symbol it says data log. Is it supposed to do that without it be connected to the car

Are you saying that it says online, and ignition on with only the USB connected and not being plugged into the vehicle harness?

Close the program reopen it. You must have it plugged into the vehicle with the key in the on position for you to be able to upload.

Hey spunkster. I tried the kpro in a friends car and it does the samething. Can I just send it back to hondata to get it checked out?
