KPRO V3 and AIM MXL

Post by Weel »

Hi,

I have AIM MXL and KPRO V3. I have the conversion board from AIM and when following instructings and going into the multiplexer menu. It doesn't give me the option to change to 9600BPS. It just has the options in Multiplexer as "NORMAL" or "DISABLED". There is no speed options for data.

This on K Manager version 4.3.2.0

Where can I set the speed? Or do I need to upgrade to KPRO V4

With the KProV3 set the multiplexer to 'datalogger 9600 bps' and wire the converter to pin E24.

I don't have the option to set multiplexer to 9600bps. It only has normal or disabled option

Then you must be using a PRA calibration. For the datalogger output you must use a PRB calibration.

Is there any way to fix this then?

Do you mean change the PRA so it has the MXL output? That answer is no because the PRA ROM does not have room. That's why for the KPro4 we added it to the KPro hardware rather than use the ECU.

Okay, changing and upgrading to KPRO V4 can I still use my current map?

Yes, the KPro4 has hardware serial & CAN output. You don't need the Aim adapter either.
