green immobilizer light blinking

Post by i-Zapp »

i apologize for not finding the answer by searching, since i'm pretty sure i've seen it somewhere. but can anyone give me the quick answer to how to turn it off? Is it as simple as unchecking the box in 'Misc' parameters? (it says only do that if engine swap)

the light has been blinking ever since i installed the kPro (son's car, i'm driving it now and annoyed by the blinking lite). car runs fine and obviously starts, just want the light off.

thanks guys/gals.

Actually what you need to do is to check the immobilizer box so it is enabled.

Is it the original ECU from the car?

that solved it, thanks. interestingly, the car wouldnt immediately start back up - it just cranked and cranked, and just about when i was ready to give up, it fired to life. anyways, problem solved, thanks again for the easy solution!
