5v power supply

Post by GTMcoupe »

I would like to add and log an additional sensor through my S300.

I can see that both the TPS and MAP sensors are supplied with 5v via two different pins.

Are they supplied by the same 5v suppply internally from the ECU or two separate supplies?

What is the total available load of the 5V supply, so I can check that my sensor does not draw too much current.

Thanks
Neil

All the 'vcc' outputs from the ECU are from the same internal supply. Sensors generally draw only 5 mA or so, but anything under 25 mA would be fine.
