losing closed loop with my wide band

Post by jaygeezemail »

Hey, hope all is doing good. I need some help as i'm scratching my head on this one.

Im using an Lc-2. I wired it up like Hasport instructs. They dont recommend using d10, instead they recommend using d14 so thats what I used. The wideband readout works as it should. My problem is after about 20 minutes of driving it switches to open loop and stays. If I restart the car closed loop operation works again, for about 20 minutes. After 2 or 3 drive cycles it throws a p0130 code which I guess is why it goes to open loop. Can anyone shed some light for me why it may be doing this?

thank you

Do not use D14 as it does not read the full voltage range. Use D10 or one of the other inputs listed.

When I emailed Hasport about the instalation and my findings about the full range thier reply was it reads from 10.01 to 18.36 which is sufficient seeing how you dont need to run richer or leaner which makes sence.

So from this Im learning the problem lies with the wideband puting out a voltage the d14 pin cannot read. correct?

It is not recommended to ever use D14 as a wideband input. Switch it over to D10 instead and removed the resistors as is recommended in the help file.
