My car return to stock calibration

Post by Matt Dex »

Guys,

I had my car tuned 4 month ago. But recently i found it was return to stock calibration without me doing anything. I was told by the tuner it was a 'normal' thing can happen with flashpro. Is that correct?

Second thing is during tuning, the tuner put in my injector size as 370 instead of 560 which i have on my car. He said we can get a more precise tuning with smaller injector size keyed in. I am not really understand this tuning thing but for me how can we have a better tuning by 'cheating'. The car is running but it smell fuel while idling. Please help[.

No, it is not normal for a return to stock calibration to sudden be installed (actually it is impossible).

The injector size is the correct way to compensate for different injectors. You can trim all the fuel tables, but it is best to use the injector size input.

Is it possible if I change the injector size after the tuning? or I will have to redo all over again?

No, you should tune with the injectors you intend to actually use.
