Cranks but does not start

Post by zuissi »

I have a K-swap NA Miata, k24a3 (european accord type-s), K20A2 EP3 engine harness, Hybrid racing universal swap harness, kpro4

Done all the wiring, sensors do get +5V, rpm, ign, inj values change on the screen when cranking, but injectors do not open at any moment so the engine is not getting any fuel and doesn't start. No error codes but iacv circuit. Immobilizer is off, multiplexer is off, injectors (Bosch EV14 650cc) should be working as they were overhauled and benched a week go and were like new. Ecu should be a good known working unit.

Any help please?

Check the crank position sensor type matches the wiring harness. They are different between the K24 and K20, but the plugs are the same.

I have checked this and I'm aware about it. The connector in harness is a little different but it fits. i have changed the wiring order in the connector and

1. YEL/BLK
2. BLU
3. BRN/YEL

Should be right but I'm not sure it the right order is looked from the wire side or the connector side of the harness.

I would recommend that you try the ECU in a known working vehicle first to help rule out a lot of things.

I sorted this out! It started on last Saturday.

First I tried the ecu on my EP3 type r and it started immediately. Then I put the ecu back to the Miata. Unplugged the TPS sensor.

Guess what.. It started!

Now I'm waiting for a new sensor.. Thanks for helping anyway!
