3step problem

Post by EGHATCH »

i've been using my 3step for several months now. yesterday, when i was about to change the settings of the 3step, (static) whenever i tap the brakes the flashing CEL won't go Solid! i tried datalogging, and brake input lits up whenever i depress the brakes, so i guess the connection is okay. i tried resetting the s200, still no luck. i can't change the 3step settings through the set button... :( what could be the problem?

Try resetting the interface box using the instructions in the user guide.

thats the same problem i have. i can only change it when i connect with my laptop. it detects my brake as well and everything else works besides the brake pedal setting. i didn't bother fixing it. i just set it once and thats about it

yeah me too, i didnt bother fixing it.even if i wanted to, i couldnt troubleshoot it. :(

but changing the launch control is a big help in the track... :( having a laptop beside you just to change launch control is such a hassle...

yeah i know what you mean. if there was an upgrade option to the s300 i would do that instead. but the problem could be due to needing a firmware upgrade. i was emailed by a hondata staff it needed that but i can't really afford having the downtime cause its my only vehicle and my daily driver and especially being in canada it doesn't help as well.
